Anushka Sharma is a Bollywood actor and producer. She is among the most highly paid actor in Bollywood, and was awarded awards for her work. Anushka was first seen as a model in 2017 for Wendell Rodricks Les Vamps Show at Lakme Fashion Week. He selected her to be his finale model of the collection for Spring/Summer 2007. Her modeling career started at Lakme Fashion Week in 2017. Since then, she has been involved in various campaigns, such as those with Fiat Palio & Fiat Whisper Nathella Jewelry. Anushka began giving film auditions along with her modelling. In 2008 Anushka Sharma made her acting debut with the film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi opposite Shah Rukh Khan. Anushka Sharma took her time to get ready and did not do the test impromptu. Then, she was cast in three films for Yash Raj Films. The role she played was that of a younger wife to an actor of middle age (Shah Rukh Khan) in the movie. The film was hit on the box office and was the second-highest-grossing movie of 2008. Anushka was in 2010's 'Badmash Company" together with Shahid Kapoor Meiyang Chang, Vir Das. The film received mixed praises. In the same year, Anushka Sharma appeared in the film "Band Baaja Baaraat' with Ranveer Singh where she played an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who begins her own wedding planning business. The film was well-received and was later a sleeper. Anushka was able to complete her three-film contract with Yash Raj Films.
